Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Magama, Niger State. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
