Immediate opening: garden maintenance worker (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Grant County, New Mexico. The job is on a golf course. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Day to day you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease.
