Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in County Durham, England. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Full-time, day shift.
