Gas metal arc welder — Bureau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Bureau County, Illinois. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
