Rigger — Natchitoches Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
