Urgent requirement: brick mason (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Talladega County, Alabama. You will work at a residential building site. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts.
