Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Hancock County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
