Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin.
