Scaffold fitter — Delaware County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Delaware County, New York. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. You will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. You should have: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
