Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Evans County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
