Rebar fixer • Fairfield County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Fairfield County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Six days a week, one day off.
