Crawler crane operator • Charles County, Maryland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Charles County, Maryland. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
