Cement mason — City of Danville

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in City of Danville, Virginia. The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
