Domestic gas engineer • Colfax County, New Mexico

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Colfax County, New Mexico. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Meals and transport allowance provided.
