Great opportunity: steel fixing chargehand (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in San Miguel County, New Mexico. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
