Immediate opening: vacuum press operator (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Bates County, Missouri. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
