Cnc lathe operator wanted in Carroll County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Carroll County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
