Rebar installer — Butler County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Butler County, Ohio. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
