Banksman wanted in Medway

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Medway, England. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends.
