Semi-automatic welder wanted in Shiawassee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Shiawassee County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Six days a week, one day off.
