Gantry crane operator — Ziebach County

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ziebach County, South Dakota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
