The role involves read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Full-time, day shift.
