Slinger signaller — Carter County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Carter County, Missouri. The job is at a busy construction site. The role involves take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off.
