Skimming plasterer — Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Union County, North Carolina. The role involves apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
