Civil works labourer • Smyth County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Smyth County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
