Counter butcher wanted in Nemaha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Nemaha County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
