Now hiring: we are hiring a marble polisher in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will be based on a hotel and villa renovation project. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Day to day you will cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps.
