Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jones County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Rotating shifts.
