Pipe tig welder • Ughelli South, Delta State

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ughelli South, Delta State. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
