Great opportunity: hydraulic crane operator (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Washington County, North Carolina. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
