Urgent requirement: semi-automatic welder (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
