Pipe fitter • Queens County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Queens County, New York. You will be based at hotels and commercial buildings. Requirements: • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Willing to attend emergency call-outs The role involves: • Make connections to the mains water and sewer lines • Read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site • Install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Chase walls and floors for concealed pipework • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs 3+ years on the tools preferred.
