Toolroom milling operator wanted in Banks County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Banks County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Your main tasks: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Rotating shifts.
