We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
