Steel fixer • Igbo-Etiti, Enugu State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Igbo-Etiti, Enugu State. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. ₦13,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
