MIG welder wanted in Gogebic County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Gogebic County, Michigan. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time with occasional weekends.
