Restoration bricklayer wanted in Wilson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Wilson County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
