Machinist wanted in Union County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Union County, South Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Full-time, day shift.
