Now hiring: we are hiring a tile fixer in Putnam County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone On the job you will handle: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
