Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Dunklin County, Missouri. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
