Final inspection operator • Lyon County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Lyon County, Iowa. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems The role involves: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Rotating shifts.
