Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Day to day you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
