We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ideato South, Imo State. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Part-time with flexible hours.
