Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Plumas County, California. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
