Immediate opening: safety officer (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Jasper County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors.
