AC installation technician — City of Williamsburg

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC installation technician in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. On the job you will handle: • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow You should have: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
