Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Carteret County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run 2+ years on the tools preferred.
