Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Page County, Iowa. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
