Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Monroe County, Ohio. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
