We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Mississippi County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
